LEP Community Membership
-Must be bilingual (Fluent in another non-English language, dialect or American Sign Language)
-Interpreting experience in the medical field is a plus
-Must have reliable form of transportation
-Professional and communicates clearly and effectively
-Works well with others and has strong cultural awareness and competency
-Familiarity with interpreting code of ethics and regulations

-Indicate which 40-hour Medical Interpreting Training completed
-Facilitate effective communication between two or more parties that do not speak the same language in the most accurate and clearly understood manner.
-Engage in sight translations for vital documents, as needed.
-Must attend interpreter portal training.
Responsible for facilitating accurate interpretations for MIA clients and Limited English Proficient persons.
